 DELUCIA CRF DOES IT AGAIN...and AGAIN!!!!!!! 

DeLucia CRF wins Filly Championship, Young Horse Championship, AND GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP at the Brookside Equestrian Center Breed Show in RI on August 28, 2010!!!!  She wowed the judge and spectators with her AMAZING movement and her diva presence!  Her yearling brother Diamante CRF followed right behind her, winning his Colt class and winning Reserve Champion for the Colt Championship. Both horses are by the Oldenburg stallion DeLuxe and out of our premium Swedish mare Galena.  This cross is amazing!!!!! (Note: Above photo is from 8/21/10 when she also won Res. DIAMANTE CRF WINS TOP PREMIUM FOAL AT 2009 OLDENBURG (GOV) INSPECTION!!!!!

"Monte" wowed the inspectors, and received TOP PREMIUM FOAL AWARD at the 2009 GOV Inspection in New Hampshire.  Comments included, "Gorgeous, stunning colt that made all three of us go 'wow' as soon as he walked into the arena...three lovely gaits, very light on his feet, already showing collection at such a young age...nice loft, impressive colt, with an amazing canter that is already so balanced for such a young horse...powerful colt with a promising future."  Diamante is out of our premium Swedish mare Galena, and by GOV stallion DeLuxe.

We had a wonderful 2009 show season, with both DeLucia and her brother Diamante doing quite well.  Once again, Lucy qualified for finals, and finished 4th at the NEDA Fall Festival Filly Finals.  For national standings, Lucy once again impressed us, finished 2nd in the nation for Oldenburg (GOV) 2-year olds.  This girl iis going places!

DeLucia CRF hits the 2008 DSHB circuit winning again!!!

"Lucy" has been proving yet again that she is one fabulous filly!  She came out winning yet again this year, showing in the yearling fillies.  At Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, ME, Lucy won her Yearling Fillings class and the Filly Championship class, qualifying for the USDF/Great American Insurance Filly Finals.  She then went on to place 3rd in the overall Grand Championship against mature horses, and then won her Oldenburg Verband IBC class with an amazing score of 82.2%!!!!!!  Judge Jos Sevriens commented on Lucy's natural talent: "excellent reach and elastisticity with excellent suspension...nice loft to trot...very nice over reach....beautiful filly, her movement alone is why she should have won...well-proportioned, nice head and neck, feminine...nice conformation...good, powerful hindend engagement...promising riding prospect."

Then again, at the CMDA Breed Show in Durham, ME, Lucy did it again, winning her Yearling Fillies class and then becoming Reserve Champion in the Filly Championship, again qualifying for the USDF/Great American Insurance Finals.  Judge Peter Hansen commented: "Nice filly, well-proportioned...nice loft to trot...good over reach, rhythmical, nice modern type...very nice filly with a promising future."  We are so thrilled with this girl, she truly is a super star!!!!!  Wish her luck at NEDA Fall Festival September 10th and 11th, 2008!

DeLucia CRF wins the New England Breeders' Futurity at the 2007 New England Dressage Association Fall Festival!!!!!!!  "Lucy" wowed the judges yet again, winning her Weanling Fillies of 2007 class on Wednesday September 12th, and then won everyone's hearts on Thursday morning in the Futurity, with judges Lisolette Fore and Dinah Babcock commenting on her "lovely suspension, powerful hindend, nice elasticity, very nice uphill movement, lightness on her feet, and gorgeous neck, head, and presence."  This filly is destined to be a SUPERSTAR!!!!  See our 2007 Foals page for more details on this fabulous girl out of our Swedish mare Galena, and by the GOV stallion DeLuxe.         September 2007

Coyote Ridge Farm is a family owned and operated facility in central Massachusetts dedicated to breeding quality sporthorses.  By carefully researching pedigrees and bloodlines, and then selecting the best stallion matches for our exceptional broodmares, we ensure top quality equine athletes.  In addition to our breeding program, we offer a variety of services, including mare care for breeding and foaling, foal raising, and handling and starting young horses. Our years of experience offer quality individual care.

What's New?

 As fall approaches, we are getting ready for another New England winter, and very jealous of those from our team that will be heading to Florida!!!! 

The 2009 show season was kind to us, and we are looking forward to next year.
